David Ide, Chairman
David directs an extensive Christian literature programme in Europe and Russia, which he also supports with a preaching and teaching ministry in many countries. David's professional life as a building contractor has involved him in many church building projects.


Roy Proctor
Roy was born in Swansea, South Wales, is married to Sheila and has three sons and seven grandchildren. He is a member and treasurer of Horsley Evangelical Church in Surrey. He is involved with international students at the University of Surrey as chairman of Christian Friends of International Students (Friends International). Graduating from University of Wales in 1966, he spent his working life with BP in operational, project and business management roles in nine countries.

Chris Embleton-Smith
Chris was brought up in Argentina and after a short service commission in the Royal Artillery he managed a factory in Mozambique. As a surveyor by profession, he has worked with many overseas institutions in the City of London where he attended and benefited from the teaching ministry at St Helens Bishopsgate. His methodical and detailed approach to any situation was an asset when, prior to PTI's inception, he organised a succession of book ministry projects in Uganda, Mali and Burkina Faso.
